"Great Sadness" |
It is with great sadness the Lodge has to advise of the passing to the Grand Lodge above on 10th September 2011, Bro George Frederick Smith PM (Fred). His funeral was exceptionally well attended by so many Brethren from all airts and the Lodge thanks them all for their attendance. We also thank our friends in Germany for the wreath they sent to mark the occasion. Fred will be very much missed in Freemasonry and by his family. |
"Refurbishment Status" |
The Lodge floor has been re-polished and looks great, new tables and chairs are in place and we look forward to our start on 12th October 2011. |
